We will introduce the laser heat treatment tests for "Silicoloy." Laser heat treatment technology can minimize thermal effects on the base material compared to high-frequency heat treatment, allowing for localized hardening or softening. By combining the heat treatment characteristics of the precipitation-hardened Silicoloy with laser heat treatment (localized solid solution heat treatment), we aim to establish a new process design. This time, we conducted evaluation tests using the moving solid solution method and high-speed rotating solid solution method.
